In today’s fast-paced technological world, smartphones have become a vital component of our daily lives. Given that a large amount of data is stored on our mobile devices, problems can arise when we hit the limits of our phone’s storage capacity. The Mito brand of smartphones has a reset feature to solve problems that may be encountered with these gadgets. Resetting the phone can be done in two ways – through the settings menu or the recovery mode.
The reset option is designed to remove all the data stored on the phone, including contacts, apps, and various files. Before resetting your Mito phone, it is essential to back up all data on your computer or a memory card to avoid losing valuable data. Resetting the phone helps to restore its performance and improve its speed by clearing any junk files, cache, or malware-infected apps.
The Mito smartphone has two reset methods that can help to solve any issues that may arise. These methods are as follows:
1. Reset Through Settings
The reset through settings is the easiest way to clean your Mito phone from various data, junk files, cache, and more. Other problems such as frequent hangs or applications closing on their own can be resolved. It will help restore the phone’s performance as before. The following is the guide on how to reset a Mito phone using the settings:
Step 1: Open your Mito HP Settings menu.
Step 2: Find the option Backup and Reset and then tap the option.
Step 3: Select Factory Data Reset.
Step 4: Tap on Reset Phone, and then select Erase Everything.
Step 5: After the factory reset process is complete, the phone will restart automatically.
2. Reset Through Recovery Mode
Sometimes, the reset through settings may not be applicable if the phone is screen locked or stuck at the logo (bootloop). To solve bootloop and pattern locked problems, use the hard reset method via recovery mode as shown below:
Step 1: Turn off your cellphone first.
Step 2: Press and hold the button Volume Down and Power simultaneously for a few seconds.
Step 3: When the Mito logo appears, release both buttons.
Step 4: If the Android logo is lying down, press the Power button and Volume up together and immediately release them.
Step 5: If you did it right, your phone will enter Recovery Mode.
Step 6: In this recovery mode, navigate through the menus using the Power, Volume Up, and Volume Down buttons.
Step 7: Use these buttons to find and highlight options Wipe Data / Factory Reset. Then use the Power button to make a selection.
Step 8: Select the “Yes – Delete All User Data” option.
Step 9: When finished, select Reboot system now.
Once the above steps are complete, HP Mito will restart, and you can wait for a few minutes between 5 to 10 minutes to be used again.
It is important to understand that your phone may suddenly restart at times, and it may not necessarily mean that it needs to be flashed. You can use any of the three reset methods outlined above to solve any problems arising from your smartphone. Additionally, ensure that you back up all important data before resetting the phone to avoid any unwanted outcomes.
