Week 9 streaming quarterbacks – 5th Down Fantasy

Week 9 has six teams on bye. If you’re like me, that could mean you’re missing half of your team with limited options. That’s the beauty of the disclaimer. Now, of course, the dropout line can be thin depending on your league, but I think some points are better than zero points.

Even if your team wins by one point, you still get a win in the win column. Take advantage of every extra point you can get. If you need some points from the quarterback position this week, take a look at some of these guys as options Week 9 streaming quarterbacks.

Last Week 9 fantasy advice: Fantasy Football Rankings | Start / Sit | Waiver Wire | News

Taylor Heinicke (WAS)

With Carson Wentz sidelined, Taylor Heinicke is once again the starter for the Commanders. He commanded the offense last week, finishing with 279 yards and two touchdowns.

He has the green light to throw the ball, and will absolutely need to throw this week against Minnesota. The Vikings will score points, and the commanders will be forced to follow. Look for this to be a high-scoring game, which means both quarterbacks in this game should have quite a bit of volume.

Additionally, Heinicke has solid weapons at his disposal and will be able to move the ball on this Vikings defense that is giving up an average of 291 passing yards per game over the last three games. Fire up Heinicke this week and have a good time.

Kirk Cousins (MY)

See the information above and you’ll understand why you should start Kirk Cousins this week. This should be a high-scoring game for both teams, and the Vikings should have the advantage overall.

In addition, Cousins just received a new weapon that can catch down passes and take pressure from everyone in the offense. New tight end TJ Hockenson will be a solid threat in this offense and receive plenty of one-on-one coverage with Jefferson as the focal point.

Cousins has everything he needs to succeed this week and beyond. Washington’s defense has played better of late, but this offense will be difficult to contain. This is also a “revenge game” for Cousins as well. Not sure it means much, but regardless, it should be a good week for Cousins and the Vikings.

Andy Dalton (NO)

Believe it or not, Andy Dalton has been a fantasy starter ever since he took over as the starter for New Orleans. He’s by no means anyone’s first option on a weekly basis, but the games have turned out to be good for Dalton.

This week, he gets to throw against a Ravens defense that has given up 268 passing yards per game this season. Olave has a knack for being open in all the right places, and it doesn’t hurt to have Alvin Kamara taking short passes and turning them into long gains. If you’re in a pinch, start up Dalton this week, especially with six teams on the road.
