Watch Made in Abyss season 2 online: Streaming Link

Made in Abyss Season 2, The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, premieres July 6 at 10:30 EDT, 7:30 am PDT. If you are curious to know exactly where to watch the show online here are the details, along with streaming links!

How to watch Made in Abyss season 2 online

The only place to watch season 2 in English will be on the anime streaming service HIDIVE.

While Season 1 is available on Prime Video, you’ll probably have to wait a long time before the Golden City of the Scorching Sun hits Amazon’s streaming service. However, it is better to keep everything in one place and watch it on HIDIVE instead, since you have to be fully involved in each film before you can dive deep into season 2.

And no, the second season is not available on Crunchyroll or Funimation either. It is exclusive to HIDIVE this time.

What you need to see before season 2

If you have not finished season 1 yet, you can watch the two films that serve as a season summary before watching Dawn of the Deep Soul, which you absolutely must do first.

It was a premiere of season 2 during the Anime Expo on July 4, and people were very excited about it.

A new trailer also gave a preview of the anime’s final theme, “Endless Embrace” by MYTH & ROID (Overlord). Riko Azuna (So I’m a Spider, So What?) Performs “Katachi” for the opening theme.

Ok, but I’m new here: What’s made in Abyss?

Made in Abyss is the mash on the Japanese manga series (Japanese: メ イ ド イ ン ア ビ ビ, Hepburn: Meido in Abisu). The story is about an orphaned girl named Riko who teams up with a human robot named Reg and ventures into the titular “Abyss” – a region deep underground – in a quest to find her mother.

From where we left off, season 2 will see Nanachi, Riko and Reg set off on their quest to uncover the secrets of the abyss. According to Fiction Horizon, they believe that, based on the title of the second season, it will largely focus on the chapter 49 story “The Golden City”, which is part of the broader Ganja Arc and will probably be adapted this season. A group of interference units that, unlike Gaburoon, are the size of humans, are encountered as soon as Ganja enters the sixth layer of this chapter. They can be understood by interference devices, but they cannot talk to them.

Have you read the manga? If so, do you think it will be reflected in the second season? Let us know!
