“As the manifestos do”

Melissa Roxburgh (who plays Michaela Stone) recently spoke with ScreenRant about her character and how she will deal with the looming death date in Season 4:

“You know, like the Manifestos do. They continue. You see Michaela really has to pull herself together for the family and pick up the pieces that Ben has laid down. She understands grief so well, she’s had so much of her own, but this is the first time she’s had to carry someone else’s, I think. It’s interesting because she’s pretty good at it, but she’s also tired.”

She continued: “Especially now that it’s two years in the future and the date of death is coming up, she’s scared, and she’s anxious, and she needs her best friend. She needs her brother. She needs support from Ben. So she’s kind of left in a precarious place in Season 4.”

Manifest Season 4 Part 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
