It’s been four years since the first one Black panther movie and Marvel fans are gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Following the death of King T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman, this film follows Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje as they fight together to protect Wakanda from intervening world powers.

As of now, the only way to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is to go out to a cinema when it premieres on Friday 11 November. You can find a local view on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to buy or rent on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, Amazon, and YouTube or become available to stream on Disney+. While a streaming release date has yet to be announced, we can make an educated guess based on past Walt Disney Studios films. While there’s no set pattern, many Disney movies will stream nearly 45 days after their theatrical release, usually the following Friday (Disney+’s usual new movie release day. If that’s the case, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever could stream on Disney+ as early as December 30 — or if the service wants to jump on the bandwagon, December 25 as an early Christmas present.

But, Thor: Love and Thunder, which is also a Marvel film, was released in theaters on July 8 before coming to Disney+ and digital platforms on September 8, timed for Disney+ Day. If Black Panther: Wakanda Forever follows the same trajectory, we may be able to stream it from our home by mid-January.
