MCU rumors reveal Daredevil and Jessica Jones’ roles in Disney + Show 2023

Marvel Studios has made some subtle strides toward bringing more characters into MCU, in part by bringing Defenders Saga over to Disney + from Netflix. Characters like Daredevil and Kingpin have already established themselves in Phase 4, and others like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage may be on their way in a short time as well.

It is already rumored that Daredevil plays a role in several episodes of She-Hulk: Lawyer, where Krysten Ritter could also find her way back to the fold if the rumors are to be believed. On top of that, Alaqua Cox is in the middle of filming the Disney + show Echowhich does not just spin off from the 2021s Hawkeye but also links Maya Lopez to some of her classic comics allies.

It is already rumored that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will repeat their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin, while Cox is rumored to have a role in three of the series’ six episodes. The latest news around the show not only confirms Cox and D’Onofrio’s presence on the show, but also teases Jessica Jones for a role.

MCU rumors tease Daredevil and Jessica Jones roles

The Hollywood Reporter shared a rumor in which Daredevil and Jessica Jones return to MCU.

The report confirmed that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk in the upcoming Echo series on Disney +, which is shown alongside Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez.

In addition, the series will feature a story in which Daredevil seeks out a former ally, who ends up becoming Jessica Jones. It is unclear why Matt is looking for Jessica at this time, but the report indicates that she will be part of this new show.

Will Echo bring back other MCU characters?

Daredevil and Kingpin became two of the hottest stories in MCU thanks to their respective appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye at the end of 2021. Even more exciting is that this should be far from the last time these characters are seen by Marvel Studios, even adding Jessica Jones to that mix sooner rather than later as well.

Of course with Echo With a strong focus on Maya Lopez after she tried to kill her adoptive uncle, these three former Netflix stars will not be the focus of attention as MCU moves forward this time. But the fact that they will play this type of role is good news anyway, since it establishes them more solidly among everything else that goes on under the MCU umbrella.

In a more immediate future, fans are looking forward to Hun-Hulk in August to see if Daredevil and Jessica Jones make a comeback ahead of what they’re going to do Echo. When we look at the bigger picture, however, 2023 and beyond will bring some incredible momentum to these characters as the defenders are more fully integrated among the earth’s most powerful heroes.

Echo movies currently and will likely debut at Disney + sometime in 2023.
