Hawkeye’s Jeremy Renner shares exciting update for the new Disney+ show

Hawkeye Star Jeremy Renner has a new show on Disney+ soon. But it’s not another Marvel project, nor does it have anything to do with his music career.

Like the funny title Rennvervation doesn’t give it away, the series is about the actor taking something run down and going all out Workshop on it. In this case, it takes worn and damaged vehicles to give them new life and purpose for the people and communities that need them most.

Renner teased that the show will be coming to the streaming service very soon, tweeting, “I’m so excited for the holidays. And a NEW show on @DisneyPlus early next year. #rennervations.”

The four-part reality series isn’t all Renner has coming out soon. The actor will do more of his day job in the second season of the crime drama Mayor of Kingstownwhich comes to Paramount+ in the US on January 15, and in the UK a day later.

Renner has also been cast in a film about the opioid crisis, playing an investigative journalist who helps uncover a pharmaceutical company involved in the widespread addiction to painkillers linked to 200,000 deaths.

Married directing duo Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly said of the project: “The real David Armstrong is a man of the utmost integrity. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Jeremy on board to bring that same integrity to his portrayal of David. We are delighted to work with such a great team to bring this story to a global audience.”

Renal innervation will be on Disney+ early next year, while Hawkeye is available to stream in its entirety on the service now.
