Charlie Cox reveals that he has yet to read any scripts for Daredevil: Born Again despite the Marvel Disney+ series going into production very soon. Netflix’s beloved Marvel series Daredevil enjoyed a three-season run before being canceled in 2018, a decision that sparked a major uproar among fans. The series introduced Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a lawyer who moonlights as a masked vigilante named Daredevil. The public’s devotion to Cox’s hero did not go unnoticed by Marvel Studios, however, and they have since begun integrating Cox’s Daredevil into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Daredevil’s introduction to the MCU began with last year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home before he last appeared on Disney+ She-Hulk: Lawyer. From there, Daredevil: Born Again is set to expand his story and establish him as his own standalone hero. With each of Disney+’s Marvel series running alongside the studio’s theatrical releases, it’s likely that Daredevil: Born Again will feature a handful of tie-ins to the wider MCU, with many expecting the 18-episode series to establish him as a key player in the MCU going forward.

In advance of Daredevil: Born AgainCox is set to appear in the upcoming MCU series Echo, which is scheduled for release at the end of 2023.
