January 2023 will be another month packed with original content coming to Disney+ globally.
Highlights include the premieres of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” Season 2 and the original series “Chasing Waves.”
New episodes continue to be released for Disney+ Original series “National Treasure: Edge of History” and Lucasfilm Original series “Willow” leading up to the finale on the 11th and more.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Season 2
As the new season opens, months have passed since the events of Kamino, and the Bad Batch continues its journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and enemies, both new and familiar, as they take on a series of exciting mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.
“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” Season 2 features Emmy Award® nominee Dee Bradley Baker (“American Dad!”) as the voice of Bad Batch and Emmy Award® nominee Michelle Ang (“Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462”) as the voice of Omega. Emmy Award® winner Rhea Perlman (“The Mindy Project,” “Cheers”) returns to guest star as Cid, Noshir Dalal (“It’s Pony,” “The Owl House”) returns to guest star as Vice Admiral Rampart and Emmy Award® Winner Wanda Sykes (“The Upshaws,” “Black-ish”) makes her series guest debut as Phee Genoa.
“The Bad Batch” season 2 will premiere with two episodes on January 4, 2023. New episodes will be released on January 11, 18 and 25.
National Treasure: Edge of History
Jess Valenzuela’s life is turned upside down when an enigmatic stranger gives her a clue to a centuries-old treasure that may be linked to her long-dead father. Jess has a knack for solving puzzles, and her skills are put to the test as she and her friends follow a series of clues hidden in American artifacts and landmarks. But can Jess outwit a black market antiques dealer in a race to find history’s greatest lost treasure and reveal the truth about her family’s past?
The Disney+ Original series, “National Treasure: Edge of History” is an extension of the “National Treasure” film series. Jerry Bruckheimer, Cormac & Marianne Wibberley, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed serve as executive producers on the series along with Rick Muirragui, who also serves as writer. Jon Turteltaub is also an executive producer. Mira Nair directs and produces.

This character-driven documentary series follows multicultural athletes in pursuit of their dreams, paints a captivating picture of Japanese life and showcases what it takes to succeed in the international surfing industry.
