The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, NATA 2022 will be conducted today for the second time. NATA Test 2 is scheduled for today, July 7, 2022, and will be conducted by the Council of Architecture for students who wish to apply for a 5-year UG architecture course. NATA 2022 Admit Card was released online for candidates on the official website – July 4, 2022. Students can download the NATA Admit Card by entering the registration ID and password to log in and download it from the candidate portal. The direct link is shared below for reference.

NATA is an entrance exam that is conducted for admission to a 5-year bachelor’s course in architecture in various institutions throughout India. For admission to CFTIs for architecture, students attend the JEE main exam, where the result is expected to be declared soon.

This year, COA has decided to conduct the NATA exam three times, which gives students three attempts at the entrance exam in architecture. Exams today would be second attempts for students.

NATA 2022 will be carried out in two shifts – the morning shift from 10:00 to 13:00 and the afternoon shift from 14:30 to 17:30. A total of 125 questions will be given to students for a total of 200 points. The NATA exam will be conducted in CBT mode.

The NATA exam will assess the candidates’ skills in areas such as drawing, observation, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking and other fields related to architecture. Candidates can read below to get some guidelines for exam days you should keep in mind for exams today.

NATA 2022: Important guidelines for exam days

  1. Candidates are advised to bring their access card. Without the access card, access to the examination room would be denied.
  2. Bring a valid photo ID such as Aadhar card, voter ID, driver’s license – for proof.
  3. Grovark, writing materials and other tools will be given to the candidates during the exam. However, candidates are advised to bring their own geometric boxes.
  4. Devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, slide rules, log tables, electronic clocks are prohibited inside the examination room
  5. Candidates are also recommended to follow the covid-19 regulations that are in place in the examination room.
  6. Wear a face mask inside and outside the exam room. Keep social distance and bring your own hand alcohol.
