Trade expert at Circus
Trade showman Akshaye Rathi told India Today that Ranveer’s star power is likely to bring footfall in the theatres, which will help to generate good numbers on an opening day.
“It is difficult to give any estimates for Circus as Avatar: The Way of the Water will also grow again during the weekend. That said, I expect Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s film to earn around Rs 10 crore (nett) in India on the first day,” he added.
Rohit Shetty directorial Cirkus remained low with its advance booking numbers. Trade analyst Girish Johar shared an update on Twitter which read, “Adv tkt sales below par currently for #Cirkus but past trends favor @imRohitShetty, commercial films get mixed responses but their audiences who always make them winners. Hope the trend continues here also!”

You’ll say I want to watch this stage again. This is that kind of film. It’s All The Best and Golmaal,” he further added.
