Stranger Things fans may be waiting for the last half of season 4 to come to Netflix next month, but some cool new art has imagined what the franchise would look like with its own type of anime! Netflix has dived further and further into new anime projects in recent years, and many of their original productions have been adaptations that show the franchise in a completely new way. Fans have seen this with the likes of Castlevania and the upcoming Skull Island, but it’s also a lot of fun that the service can have with anime taking on its own franchises.

It’s not just one of the season’s more difficult moments when Eleven tries to use his powers (in vain) against some bullies early in the series, and of course an anime that takes on the central moment from episode 4 that the fans have been involved in. loving since it hit. Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 launches with Netflix on July 1, and you can currently find the first four seasons streaming with the service now to catch up. As for the first volume of the fourth season, ComicBook.com’s Patrick Cavanaugh noted in the official review (which you can check out in full here), “With another month left before fans can see how this season ends, There’s still a chance to go out on a limb.
