Ani-One Asia Streams ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister!  Anime – News

Ani-One Asia announced on Tuesday that it has licensed the TV anime to Nekotofu‘s ONIMAI: I am now your sister! (Onii-chan wa Oshimai!) manga, and will start streaming anime on its YouTube channel 5 January at 23:30 GMT +8. The anime will be available in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New -Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu and Vietnam.

The anime will premiere in Japan on January 5.

Shingo Fujii (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation episode 11 storyboards, director) debuts as a director in the series of anime at Studio Bind. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, The prison school Love All Play, Tsurune) is responsible for series scripts. Ryo Imamura (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation episode 11 animation director) designs the characters. EGG SOLID produces the series.

Multi-genre entertainer P Maru-sama and cosplayer Likewise collaborate to perform the opening theme song “Identeitei Meltdown”, while the “Onimai Sisters” (the main characters’ voice actresses: Marika Kōno, Kaori Ishihara, Hisako Kanemoto, Minami Tsuda) performing the ending theme song “Himegoto * Cry Sisters.”

Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga digitally in North America, and it describes the story:

Mahiro Oyama was just an ordinary erotic game-loving guy… until he woke up one morning as a woman! It turns out that his little sister, Mihari, has been trying out one of her new experiments on him…with disastrous results, as far as Mahiro is concerned! But Mihari is as determined to study him as he is to return to his caged life, and one thing is for sure…life is going to be a lot weirder from here on out!

The manga began as a self-published work by Nekotofu in 2017, which they published through pixiv and elsewhere on the web. Nekotofu launched a regular serialization of the manga in Ichijinsha‘s Comic Rex magazine in April 2019. Ichijinsha published the manga’s sixth compiled book volume and its second anthology volume on the same day on April 27. Kodansha USA Publishing released the sixth volume in English on October 25.
