We also have Karen Tendou, the club president of the video game club, and Chiaki Hoshinomori, who is constantly arguing with Keita. Players is funny and constantly has strong comedic moments filled with misunderstandings for these characters. It is considered a chaotic romantic comedy.
Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun (2014)
High school student Chiyo Sakura is in love with her schoolmate Umetarou Nozaki, but when she confesses her love for him, he mistakes her for a fan and gives her an autograph. When she says she always wants to be with him, he invites her to his house and gets her help with some drawings. She finds out that Nozaki is actually a famous shoujo manga artist named Sakiko Yumeno, and they start working together. Their relationship is slow and it makes for some funny moments.

New game highlights the daily office life of Aoba and her colleagues at game development studio Eagle Jump. Any series that takes place in an office is bound to have some funny moments and quiply one-liners. There may be some office romances that make the character dynamic even more interesting.
Fruit Basket (2019)
After Tohru is taken in by the Soma family, she learns that twelve family members are involuntarily transformed into animals of the Chinese zodiac and helps them cope with the emotional pain caused by the transformation. Although it sounds a little dramatic, the comedy simply flows in and out to add more to the transformations. The interaction with the family as people and animals is what makes this entertaining to watch.
29-year-old Satoru Fujinuma is sent back in time 18 years to prevent the events that led to his mother’s death, which began with a series of kidnappings while he was in the 5th grade. The fantasy elements in Deleted is what makes it interesting because of the time travel.
Skip Beat (2008)
Kyouko went with her childhood friend, Shou, to Tokyo to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. Despite her support for him, Shou tricks her. Kyouko vows to take revenge by defeating him in the entertainment world as well. There is a lot of drama in this series because of how childhood friends can grow apart and have problems with each other. There are many comedic moments between them that make the character dynamic fun to watch.
This series is also streamed on Netflix and is about Ryuji who is fierce in appearance but gentle in heart. He forms an unlikely friendship with Taiga, a tiny girl with a sharp tongue and a tough attitude. Together they try to help each other confess their love to their crushes. This truly is the power of friendship and miscommunication is always fun to watch. That’s what makes this such a sweet series and fun because of the gimmicks presented.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War (2019)
The proudly privileged top two students at an elite school each make it their mission to be the first to extract a confession of love from each other. The concept in these romantic comedies is always interesting and it’s nice to see something hopeful. That’s why series like Romantic killer is necessary and the genre will continue to thrive because it is considered niche now.
Love Flops (2022)
Asahi Kashiwagi is a student who one morning encounters a series of unusual accidents on his way to school – all in accordance with a vague TV fortune he saw that morning. Which all culminates in an unfortunate encounter with a girl. Coincidentally, all the girls he meets are new students or teachers at his school. Asahi’s prior knowledge of the girls makes him suspicious of Yoshio. After school, he finds a love letter in his shoe locker, telling him to come to the cherry blossom tree behind the school, again according to his morning fortune. It’s a little adventure that leans heavily on in-universe probability, and it’s nice to see that there’s some love there as he goes on this journey.
